Guardiola, next Spanish coach??? >> Read My Mind

Del Bosque: ‘Pep Guardiola has the right frame of mind and the right spirit to be Spanish national team coach, as well as solid preparation and experience’

Del Bosque: ‘Pep Guardiola has the right frame of mind and the right spirit to be Spanish national team coach, as well as solid preparation and experience’

Pep Guardiola: ‘I would like to try the experience when I’m tired of the day-to-day involvement. To experience a World Cup or a European Championship would be rewarding, it’s something exciting for the long term’

– It hurts my heart to even discuss what Guardiola might do with himself once he leaves the job as FC Barcelona manager but, according to his recent words, it’s obvious the possibility of Pep’s departure deserves to be considered.

For me, it would make sense for the Catalan Mastermind to take over as Spain’s manager. He has a superb managerial style, is a people’s person and carries all the values needed to represent the institution.

The only question is: Would he accept the Spain job, if offered? I mean, Pep got 47 caps for La Roja as a player but has recently been awarded the Gold Medal by the Catalan Parliament. A proper dilemma of ideals!!!

PEP GUARDIOLA: PLEASE DON’T LEAVE BARCELONA, YOU’RE OUR LEADER!!!!!
