Xavi’s first trophy as manager of FC Barcelona came in a big way, defeating Real Madrid 3-1 in the final of the Spanish Super Cup. While that trophy doesn’t usually mean much, beating your rival for it and ending a trophy drought makes it significant. The best part is having the dominating performance led by your midfield, particularly a spectacular MOTM showing from Gavi and tremendous work from Pedri.
