Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has praised Gavi, one of the players who has seen the most video sessions with the team, as a key player for the team.
Xavi said: ”Gavi is one of the players who has seen the most video sessions with us. He has matured in a very short time. He knows when he has to make fouls. Every day he competes better with that extra heart and courage with which he plays.”
Xavi also confirmed that the club has an option to buy Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid.
Xavi said: ”Option to buy Carrasco? Yes, we have that. We’ll see if we execute it or not.”
Gavi is a young player who has been showing a lot of potential, with Xavi praising his maturity and ability to understand the game. He is a player that is willing to give his all on the field and is showing that he can be an important player for the team. His performance on the field is vital for the team’s success as they look to maintain their lead at the top of La Liga.
On the other hand, Yannick Carrasco is a well-known player who has already proved his worth in La Liga. He is a versatile player who can play in multiple positions and can add depth to the team. The option to buy Carrasco could be a smart move for the club, as it would provide them with a player who has experience and can immediately impact the field. His versatility on the the left side of the field, where Barça could probably use another attacker, wouldn’t be another example of a player without a sensible fit.
As the team prepares for their match against Getafe, Xavi and the rest of the staff will evaluate the option to buy Carrasco, and decide if it is a move that would benefit the team in the long run. Some work is certainly left to be done by Mateu Alemany, Jordi Cruyff, and the other suits to figure out how Memphis Depay’s departure affects their next moves.
