I would like to remind ourselves that, despite Cesc mentioning the ‘treble’, Barça has ALREADY won 3 trophies this season: Spanish SuperCup, European SuperCup and the Club World Cup.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want Guardiola’s men to be less ambitious or relax for the next 6 months, but I want to point out that, as a long-life Cule, this season can not be considered a failure if we fail to lift the Champions League, La Liga or La Copa.
I am sure the Pep Team will continue to make us proud whatever the final outcome. It’s not just about winning football matches, the way our coach and players carry themselves on and off the pitch is as admirable as lifting trophies.
