FC Barcelona have transferred Bojan Krkic to AS Roma for 12MILLeu. The deal includes a compulsury buyback clause at the end of the 2012/13 season for 13MILLeu which Roma could block paying an extra 28MILLeu then.
– While I am sad to see one of the most promising youngsters La Masia has ever produced leave us, I am sure this is the best solution for both parts. Bojan’s progression hasn’t been as quick as expected due to lack of playing time and, with Alexis Sanchez now officially joining Barca, there is simply no room for Mr Krkic.
I wish Bojan all the best and Roma and, hopefully, he can rejoin us in the future. Let’s hope Luis Enrique can give the Catalan prospect the confidence he needs to grow into a worldclass striker.
