Dear member,
After nearly six years running Barcablog, words can’t possibly explain how proud I am to have developed our website into a social community where Barcelona fans regularly come to read the latest news, share their opinions, interact with each other and, ultimately, celebrate their love for FC Barcelona.
Having over 710,000 followers in social media and receiving over 3,200,000 visits on the website has certainly exceeded expectations. Considering it all started with simply posting a photo explaining the Barcelona crest on Facebook, it is clear that the journey that followed was impossible to predict.
Barcablog is now in a position to contribute towards achieving goals which go beyond the barriers of football. For the last three years and counting, Barcablog has donated at least $100 on the first day of January and July to the Fundacion Leo Messi and the MNDA. We would love to be in a position to raise our donations to $500 in the near future, but will only be able to do so when finances allow us to.
If you are reading this letter, thank you. Your support throughout the years has not gone unnoticed. Every single comment, like, retweet, share or click is incredibly valuable. The dream of making a difference to the lives of the children that Messi so passionately supports via his charity is now closer than ever.
Our main channel to attract revenue is advertising in our website. If you are interested in making your product know to our 710,000+ audience, do not hesitate to take a look at the different options available.
We are also part of the Adsense scheme, a Google initiative that places ads next to our content and pays us a very small commision every time a user clicks on them.

More often than not, the question “How do you get time to keep the site updated?” pops up. I must admit, it is not always easy. Luckily, my gorgeous wife is hugely understanding of my passion for Barcelona and doesn’t complain too much — although, when she does, it can be scary!
With that in mind, I couldn’t be happier to announce that we are recruiting! If you want to join our team and feel you have the passion, talent and confidence needed write for Barcablog, this is your unique chance to prove your worth. And no, you don’t have to write every day! Contact at myworldofsport(at)gmail(dot)com for more details.
On behalf of the team at Barcablog, we would like to thank you once again for your continued support by commenting, liking, sharing or whatever-you-are-doing-ing on a regular basis.
We are committed to continue to provide you with engaging content about Barcelona, the best football team on the planet, for many years to come.
As the Barca anthem explains, Tots Units Fem Força (Together We Are Stronger)
Exciting times!
